Part-time/Full-time Kitchen Assistant

Reigate, Surrey

 

We are a lively Reigate nursery searching for a home cook that can transfer their skills to our kitchen, helping to organise mealtimes and cook delicious food.

​

Essential duties will include:

  • Assisting with the daily running of the kitchen

  • Responsibility of stock, safe food storage, ordering and budgeting weekly

  • Accurate record keeping

  • Supporting with the cleaning and servicing of the kitchen and equipment

  • Managing allergies and dietary requirements while preparing fresh, nutritional meals in line with our seasonal menus

 

Previous experience in an Early Years setting is desirable.

 

This vacancy is for either a 40 hour full time position for Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm or a flexible work pattern such as job share or reduce hours to suit your personal commitments .

Successful applicants will need to provide ‘right to work’ in the U.K documentation, undertake a DBS and appropriate checks if a person has spent significant time abroad, have a google search completed and obtain at least two satisfactory references before commencing employment.
