Out of hours Nursery Housekeeper

Cavendish Lodge Nursery School is looking for a experienced, friendly and reliable housekeeper to work within our beautiful nurseries in Streatham. The successful candidate will enjoy working amongst a large team and enjoy cleaning and have a hard-working ethic. They will be required to provide the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery. Working closely with our very friendly nursery team to keep the nursery presentable and looking it’s best for the children, parents and carers. This position is out of hours and the post holder will be required to lock up the nursery.
Some of the key duties will include:

Laundry (bed sheets, flannels and towels)

Cleaning the floors by mopping and sweeping

Vacuuming the stairs and play areas
-
Cleaning the toilets / bathroom areas

Wiping, dusting and polishing the mirrors, taps, disposal units and glass
-
Cleaning the staff room and emptying bins
-
Cleaning skirting boards and wiping walls
-
Deep cleaning by moving furniture and rugs
-
Using the steamer to clean, soft furnishings
Your Salary
£ 11.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 4.00pm - 7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm

Successful applicants will need to provide ‘right to work’ in the U.K documentation, undertake a DBS and appropriate checks if a person has spent significant time abroad, have a google search completed and obtain at least two satisfactory references before commencing employment.
