Are you organised and enjoy working with numbers and little people with big characters?
Cavendish Lodge Nurseries & Pre-Schools are looking for an enthusiastic Part-time Nursery Admissions Administrator to help support the nursery management team with the smooth running of our little one’s days at our family-run nursery in Somers Road, Reigate.
Your duties include:
Nursery admissions include nursery place enquiries, tours, and allocating nursery places.
Front-of-house reception duties, saying hello with a big smile
Supporting the staff, nursery managers and directors with daily administration.
Ensuring all nursery policies are followed
Assisting with staff recruitment and HR records
Dealing with general telephone and email queries
Updating staff and children’s files
Problem-solving, returning lost dinosaurs and Teddy bears
A suitably qualified, experienced, warm, committed and highly motivated administrator to work in our nursery.
We would like you to:
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical and financial administration.
Have a high standard of written communication skills and can write professional letters to parents, staff and external agencies.
Have excellent professional telephone manners.
Be able to work under the direct instruction of the nursery managers and assist as a personal assistant.
The ability to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including founding directors, senior management, parents, colleagues and outside agencies
Be able to carry out all office duties effectively and efficiently.
Hight standard of PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Have excellent organisation skills.
The ability to work to deadlines
Reliable, trustworthy and a can-do willing to learn attitude
Have a sense of humour and enjoy working with young happy children
Part-time position, 9.00 am - 2.00 pm, 4 days a week

Successful applicants will need to provide ‘right to work’ in the U.K documentation, undertake a DBS and appropriate checks if a person has spent significant time abroad, have a google search completed and obtain at least two satisfactory references before commencing employment.
